Supplier partnerships Wrigley Pacific ac tively works with our freight , logistics and storage suppliers to ensure that their activities on our behalf are as sustainable as possible. For all future tenders, Wrigley has included environmental sustainability as one of the key selec tion criteria that prospective suppliers must meet . Our freight supplier of choice has committed to the ongoing management of its environmental impact within its facilities and operations, as well as acting to reduce its rates of emissions, energy and waste wherever possible. We also work with our storage suppliers to ensure that they provide on-site rec ycling facilities. simpLe cHanges We’ve reduced the number of trucks that we have on the road by making a simple change to the way we import permanent merchandising equipment.These heavy-duty display units, which are widely used in retail outlets across Australia, are now imported from overseas via a third party logistics provider and sent directly to each State Depot , thus reducing the number of kilometres the equipment has to travel domestically.
